Questions about Trackrr
The questions that come up on almost every demo call, answered properly. If yours is not here, ask us directly — we would rather tell you Trackrr is a poor fit than sell you a trial.
Everything people ask us
No. Location is captured at check-in and check-out, and optionally at each job update — not continuously in the background. Staff can see exactly what was recorded about them, which is usually what turns scepticism into acceptance in the first week.
Yes. Trackrr needs a working data connection at the moment of check-in, because the selfie, coordinates and timestamp are recorded on our servers as they are captured. A normal 4G signal is plenty — it is a small upload. Sites with genuinely no coverage, such as deep basements or remote installations, are a real limitation and we would rather tell you that upfront than have you discover it in week one.
No. The camera opens live inside the app — gallery uploads are blocked — and location is stamped by the device's GPS at that instant and validated against the client's registered site. A check-in outside the allowed radius is flagged for your review rather than silently accepted.
Because Trackrr does not run continuous background tracking, its battery footprint is closer to a messaging app than a navigation app. Typical field use costs a few percent across a full shift.
Most teams are live the same day. Add your employees and client sites, share the app link, and the first check-ins usually happen within a couple of hours. Field staff need about five minutes of training — the app is one screen and one button.
You get one admin account free on every plan. Beyond that, every account is charged at your plan’s normal per-user rate — a second admin, a supervisor and a field technician all cost the same. There is no premium for a dashboard account, and client sites are unlimited and free.
Yes. Attendance, visit and activity reports export to Excel or CSV for any date range, which is the format payroll teams generally want. Exports are included on every plan.
Open the visit and you have the selfie, coordinates, map pin, check-in and check-out timestamps, time on site and the customer's feedback in one view. Most disputes end there. Records are write-once, so nothing in that view can be edited after the fact.
You can export everything at any point, including during and after cancellation. On written request we permanently delete your organisation's data from production and backups within 30 days.
Yes. Trackrr is built for the phones field staff actually carry — it runs on Android 8 and above, iOS 13 and above, and is deliberately light on data and storage.
Trackrr is priced per field user per month and billed annually: ₹299 for up to 10 users, ₹249 for 11 to 50 users, and ₹199 above 50 users. Every plan includes every feature — the tier only changes the per-user rate. One admin account is free; all other accounts are charged at the same per-user rate.
No. There is no biometric reader, no wall-mounted device and no SIM-based tracker. Trackrr runs on the smartphones your team already carries, which is the main reason it can be live the same day.
