Shift-level proof for every guard post
You bill per guard, per shift, per site. Trackrr proves each of those shifts was actually manned — including the 2 AM reliever nobody was awake to verify.
Security agencies use Trackrr to verify guard deployment at each post for each shift, including night shifts where supervision is thin. The guard checks in with a selfie at the post; GPS and a server-side timestamp are captured automatically.
Because billing is per guard-shift, this record is also the invoice backup. When a client disputes deployment, you produce the shift-by-shift attendance rather than arguing from a register.
What goes wrong without it
Every industry has its own version of the attendance problem. In security staffing, it usually looks like this.
Night shifts nobody verifies
The 10 PM to 6 AM shift runs unsupervised. If the reliever does not turn up and the day guard covers a double, you learn about it from the client's CCTV, not from your own records.
Register entries filled in bulk
A week of attendance written in one sitting, in one pen, on Friday. It satisfies nobody in an audit and proves nothing in a dispute.
Billing deductions you cannot contest
The client deducts for eleven unmanned shifts last month. You suspect three of those are wrong, but without shift-level evidence you take the whole deduction.
How Trackrr works for security staffing
Shift-boundary check-ins
Attendance is recorded against the shift, so a late reliever or an unmanned handover shows up as an exception rather than disappearing into a daily total.
Post-level location proof
Each check-in is validated against the registered post location. A guard checking in from home is flagged, not silently accepted.
Unmanned-post alerts
If a shift starts and no check-in arrives, you get an alert while there is still time to dispatch a reliever.
Invoice-grade attendance backup
Per-site, per-shift attendance exported for the billing period, ready to attach when a client questions deployment.

Security staffing questions
Not necessarily. Many agencies run Trackrr on a handset kept at the post, with each guard checking in using their own face. The selfie is what identifies the person, not the device.
Yes. Trackrr records the check-in on our servers at the moment it happens, so a data connection is required then. Most posts are fine on ordinary 4G, but deep basement parking and remote industrial gates can be genuinely out of coverage — worth checking those specific posts before you roll out.
Check-in and check-out give you the shift boundaries and total duration. Trackrr does not track guards continuously through the shift — that is deliberate, both for privacy and battery.
Yes. A supervisor checks in at the post the same way, which creates a timestamped, located record that the inspection happened — useful evidence for clients who contract for periodic supervision.
