How we handle the personal and location data captured through Trackrr.

Template notice. This page is a starting structure, not legal advice. Have a lawyer review and adapt it before you publish the site — particularly the data-retention and jurisdiction clauses.

What we collect

For each check-in and check-out, Trackrr records a selfie image, GPS coordinates with an accuracy value, a server-side timestamp, the client site the visit is associated with, and any notes or photographs the user attaches. For account holders we store name, email address, phone number, employer and role.

What we do not collect

Trackrr does not collect continuous or background location, contacts, messages, call logs, browsing activity, or media outside an explicit check-in action.

Why we collect it

To provide the service: recording attendance, verifying visits, producing reports for the customer organisation that employs the user, and supporting that organisation’s payroll and compliance processes.

Who can see it

Users can see their own records. Authorised administrators and supervisors within the employing organisation can see records for the staff they are granted access to. Trackrr staff access production data only where necessary to support or maintain the service, and such access is logged.

How long we keep it

Records are retained for the duration of the customer’s subscription so that historical attendance remains available for audits. On written request we permanently delete an organisation’s data from production systems and backups within thirty days.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.3 and at rest with AES-256. Backups are taken daily. Access is role-based.

Your rights

Individuals may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data. Where the data was collected by an employer using Trackrr, we will direct such requests to that employer as the data controller and support them in responding.
