Independent proof of visits to unmanned sites
A tower site has nobody to confirm anyone came. When field operations are outsourced, the partner performs the work and reports on it. Trackrr gives you a record you did not have to take their word for.
Telecom operators and infrastructure partners use Trackrr to independently verify technician visits to unmanned tower and BTS sites. Each visit is a selfie check-in validated against the registered site location, with a server-side timestamp at arrival and departure.
For outsourced field operations this is the core value: site visit counts and on-site durations come from your own records rather than from the partner’s report.
What goes wrong without it
Every industry has its own version of the attendance problem. In telecom field operations, it usually looks like this.
Unmanned sites nobody can vouch for
A tower site has no one to confirm a visit happened. Verification means either trusting the report or driving there yourself.
Partner workforce grading its own homework
When field operations are outsourced, the partner both performs the work and reports on it. Turnaround and coverage figures are self-declared.
Portfolios too large to spot-check
With hundreds or thousands of sites, sampling catches almost nothing. You need the record to be automatic or you do not have one.
How Trackrr works for telecom field operations
Independent view of partner performance
Partner technicians check in through the same system, so visit counts and durations come from your records. Role-based access keeps each partner seeing only their own workforce.
Site-validated check-ins
Each check-in is matched against the registered tower location, so a check-in from the highway rather than the site is flagged rather than quietly accepted.
On-site duration, measured
Arrival and departure timestamps give you actual time at the site, which combined with your ticketing system turns reported turnaround into measured turnaround.
Coverage across the whole portfolio
Filter by circle, cluster or region to see which sites were visited and which were missed in a maintenance round.
The full toolkit, on every plan

Telecom field operations questions
Yes, and for rural infrastructure this is worth checking first. Trackrr writes the check-in to our servers as it happens, so a data connection is required at that moment. Sites within any network footprint are generally fine. Genuinely out-of-coverage locations will not work, and we would rather flag that than have it surface after rollout.
Yes. Sites can be bulk imported and organised by circle, cluster or region, and reporting filters to whatever level you need.
Yes. Role-based access lets you group by employer and restrict each partner to seeing only their own workforce, while you see everything.
No. Trackrr captures location at check-in and check-out, not a continuous track. If your requirement is genuine route tracing, this is not the right tool and we would rather say so.
